Scandals with WikiLeaks proceed with disclosure of Central Intelligence Agency files

The release of documents pertaining to the war in Afghanistan by WikiLeaks has been the reason for a fantastic deal of controversy. Though WikiLeaks maintains it would never release any data that could put soldiers in danger, the release of somewhat sensitive documents has continued. WikiLeaks has just posted a classified Cia report that discusses the U.S. role in exporting terrorism. The Central Intelligence Agency and also the Pentagon insist the report is basically harmless, but aren’t thrilled with its publication.

Top Secret Central Intelligence Agency file through WikiLeaks

According to CNN, there is a new post via WikiLeaks. The subject was previously a classified document from the Cia. The report is titled “What if Foreigners see the United States as ‘Exporter of Terrorism?’” and the subject is an exploration of the United States exporting terrorism through foreign policy. No one knows how it was found. There are examples, of course. Irish Americans funding the IRA, and Jewish Americans funding Israeli terrorist groups, for instance. The main focus of the report is the potential ramifications should the U.S. be perceived as a creator and exporter of terrorism.

That is the work of Red Cell

The CIA has a group called Red Cell. The report is certainly theirs. Essentially, they look at the flip side of anything the United States of America says or does. More or less, the job of Red Cell is to check out things from a different point of view. The CIA isn’t really happy with the disclosure. Neither is the Pentagon. Authorities have admitted the record poses no significant threat but that all documents from the Defense Department or Central Intelligence Agency should be removed and returned.

Legal craziness for WikiLeaks founder

The founder and editor of WikiLeaks is Julian Assange. He is no stranger to scandal. There was an arrest made in absentia of Assange in Sweden on rape charges. However, even the judge that got the case didn’t purchase it. So the charges were dismissed the next period. Assange has attributed the charges to a smear campaign against him by offended governments conspiring with European legal authorities. In Assange’s native land of Australia, he was convicted of hacking.
